1 Shot 870 20 Gauge Mag Extension

Hello,

New Member here, Happy Friday the 13th.

I'm looking at the TAC 14's.

It seems to me that the 20 gauge would be easier to handle and have a quicker return to target and be better for defense in a small home or vehicle.

I really like the Tac 14 Hardwood with the 1 shot mag extension, handguard flange and strap but it is only available in 12 gauge, BTW the 1 shot Mag Ext looks like it may me made by Nordic... Does anyone know if this is correct?

Long pretext - sorry for rambling on, my question is who might make / where might I obtain a
1 Shot 870 20 Gauge Mag Extension?

BTW, while composing this post I received a return call from Ken at Nordic, he confirmed that Nordic supplies the +1 Ext to Remington that comes on the 12 gauge TAC 14 HARDWOOD and that they are not currently making a +1 for 20 gauge, but it may be in the works, emphasis on may be. Ken said that the more calls they get for a 20 gauge - the sooner they may make them. Ken's phone number is (952) 446-5306.

Talk about little to no help. Well here it is!

Several years ago I read an article on using the 870 20ga for home defense. The author had listed several accessories that were available for the 20ga and I am sure he covered mag extensions. Unfortunately I did not keep a copy or cannot find the article.

So the info is out there, I just can't supply it. Sorry.

Lots of good info. Didn't see a reference to a 1 round mag extension but there is a 2 round mentioned.

ARS mentions a 1 round extension from Vang Comp Systems but I didn't see one listed. Perhaps you could contact them.

If you're open to it, you could also consider contacting gunsmiths or machinists who might be able to create a custom extension for you based on your specifications.

I couldn't find a single round extension on their web site so I don't think they offer one.
