3 inch magnum 20 gauge barrel options

Hello. I am considering buying an 870 3" magnum 20 gauge, if I can find what I want. Were any of those made with a 30" full choke barrel? I recently saw an 870 magnum with what I think was a 28" barrel. It had a modified choke.

Also, is there a good book out there on the 870's? Detailed information is more important to me than pretty pictures.

I suggest "Remington 870: A Comprehensive Guide" by Patrick Sweeney which is a good book about 870
