Pump Sticks after ejection

Post by viperbo21 »

I recently rebuilt my 870 express Magnum. I had to replace the receiver because of magazine tube damage. It was cheaper to just buy a used receiver.

Anyways, I took it out yesterday to test it out and noticed it has the same problem it had since 2002. I. Selected a pair of clays on the remote. I shot the first one and quicky pulled the pump back and ejected the empty. When I tried to quickly drive it home with the new shell the entire action locked up and I had to wiggle the pump back and forth till it would put the new shell in the chamber. By that time the second bird was gone. I always have this problem when I try to run the gun fast.

Any ideas?
