So-
I’ve got a Racker on my 870.
Every time I put it in the safe, I inadvertently press the “on” switch.
The light blasts on. This can happen when I am just handling the gun.
I would like to put an end cap positive off switch to disable the power.
Has anyone come against their problem?
Any suggestions?
Stream light Racker question/problem
Re: Stream light Racker question/problem
Well, the cheap, easy solution is not to handle it by the light when putting it into or taking it out of the safe. Those momentary contact switches are right where you obviously grab/handle it. I'm not sure I'd modify the light unit, because that end-cap switch can get just as inadvertently "switched". Perhaps since it's going into the safe, why not just remove the batteries?

Proof that the easiest solution is usually the best.Scorpion8 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 17, 2022 4:42 amWell, the cheap, easy solution is not to handle it by the light when putting it into or taking it out of the safe.
