Production of 870 Police models

I've been researching the possible production of 870 Police models under the new Rem Arms group. I haven't seen anything in writing yet.

Just wondering if anyone else has heard/read anything about it.

The police model was not on the list of RemArms production models that I saw, although they should be filling actual police orders again (I hope).

Lots of agencies are going away from shotguns and going to single shot 40mm rubber round launchers.

My agency scrapped all of our 870 Police shotguns and wouldn’t let us buy them. Sad.

I had to find a trade in from another agency.

I’m at a CA agency so there’s that. 3 years to retire. Then I move.

I contacted Remington today to find out about replacement parts for Wingmasters and police guns. I noticed in the automated reply that they said after they get things worked out they are looking at replacement parts. I am still waiting on further information.
