My first buck

Im 36 and English but now live in the US. Wisconsin to be exact.
It was hard to do much hunting in the UK due to lack of public hunting land and restrictive gun laws.
Here in Wisconsin its a big hunting culture so I've been learning to hunt over the last few years and finally went out seriously for deer this season and bagged a small doe with my father in laws 308 and then switched to 870 with slugs and bagged this 100lb spike buck the next day. Nothing fancy but meat in the freezer and a great experience harvesting and butchering my own game. I have some DGS thunderbolt slugs coming from Ballistic products that I'm going to load up hopefully for Wisconsins antlerless holiday hunt and see if I can bag another deer. Would be cool to take a deer with ammo I loaded myself. I already did that with ducks this year with tss/steel duplex load.
