I picked up an 870 express magnum . Produced May 1990. This gun has never had a shell put in it. I did clean and oil it. It's 100 % With 3 chokes and choke tool. What do you think it's worth? I hate to shoot it.

Really hard to guesstimate these days as firearms prices are all over the place. I've seen crusty, dingy 870's got for silly-money. Did you buy it as an investment, or just want to check if you got a good deal? Considering Remington gun division current situation, getting one NIB is a true score.

My next door neighbor passed away. his wife bought it for him new. he put it in a padded hard case and put it in his closet. I bought it from her when she was cleaning out. I know I got a good deal at $250 but was wondering what it was worth. Don't want to shoot it and lower it's value.

NIB 870's seem scarce these days, I'd do a guesstimate of maybe $850 based on values that I've seen in my area. Wingmaster? That raises it a bit if so. In any event, you stole that one. :o

Shoot the heck out of it . Remington made millions of them . Have fun and enjoy it. My two cents.
