Cleaning with Froglube?
Cleaning with Froglube?
Has anyone tried Froglube to clean their 870? Just ordered some on line and will use it on my M&P, just want any ones input if they have use this stuff or not. I have seen it used on hand guns and AR's, but not shotguns. I can't think of any reason I couldn't use it. I'll let you all know what I find out and let you know how well it works. I have only heard good things about it at shows and on line.

Re: Cleaning with Froglube?
Just got my shipment of it today, and will clean our hand guns this weekend with it. I have seen and heard nothing but good things about it.

So far this stuff works great. Really breaks down the dirt and grit quickly. I use a heat gun not a hair dryer. I have two 4 oz jars and have cleaned two S&W M&P 9mm, two M&P shields a double barrel shot gun and an 870. I have used about half of one jar. It really seems to lube the gun well. Cleans up easily. I will follow up with this after a few more shootings and cleanings.

This post made me buy some froglube on the weekend. I hope it works cause it is pricey.
Don't buy it if you can't sell it.

Go to Youtube and watch a few video's of others using it. There are so many different techniques on how to apply and use. It is also great on removing rust. We have an old family double barrel shotgun, rusted to hell. It cleaned it up really nice, with a lot of work. Give it a chance and follow the instructions the best you can.vmax wrote:This post made me buy some froglube on the weekend. I hope it works cause it is pricey.
PS keep the hot frog lube away from your nice wood dining room table. It will discolor it. I'm still hearing about it.
