Remington 870DM

Post by Braveheart1 »

I went ahead and bought a Tac-14DM just for the three 6 round mags that came with it to feed my 870DM. One mag alone sold for $320 this weekend on eBay. So it was like getting the Tac-14 for free!

Picked it up last night and even though at 62 not my cup of tea, it’s growing on me! Of course I just had to put the wood forend from the 870 on the Tac-14 to see what it looked like. Kind of old school cool. Lol. Seriously with mag installed it feels well balanced. Will put some rounds through it this weekend. Can see it as a good truck gun!Image

Nice! With the wood forend it looks more like a hillbilly sawed-off than the original contraption (which am not a fan of). The full-stocked version is the best IMHO.

I do too and been very pleased with full-stocked. Never any feed issues. If hadn’t been for REM’s financial woes think it’d been hit for them. It takes longer to load the mag than a tube, BUT if you have the mags loaded much quicker to slap in a mag than try loading a tube. May end up keeping the little ‘hillbilly sawed-off’
