Re: Decoding my shotgun
It is a fairly new gun judging by the QR code in front of the serial number
The devil danced as he went down, in the hail of arrows comin' Out on the wild Montana ground, Custer died a-runnin'.

Thanks.
Re: Decoding my shotgun
Oddly tall front sight without corresponding rear.
Re: Decoding my shotgun
There was a vent rib 26" barrel on the gun and the owner through in the short barrel with the sale. I'm looking for suggestions for a rear sight. This is for home defense, so I'm up for suggestions. Thanks
Re: Decoding my shotgun
If you want sights consider a receiver mounted ghost sight for rear. Those usually require a fairly tall front so I'm guessing that's how that barrel was originally used.
Is top of receiver drilled and tapped?

Does your front sight have any makers marks? Try to find matching rear.
FYI, I dont actually care for sights on a HD shotgun but others swear by them so I'm not arguing it either way. But you already have the front. Gotta either get a rear or lose the front.
