Now if I just had the money in my piggy bank.
I’ve hear panhandling on the street can be lucrative ... especially if one is holding a shotgun while asking for spare change. 🤔

Now if I just had the money in my piggy bank to get what I'm hankering for and certainly don't "need"... a Browning Citori White Lightning O/U .410 Bore 26".
Now is when you go visit friends and relatives and secretly check between their couch cushions for loose change.....
I think I'd just find crumbs.
Ahhhh, a pessimist! See, crumbs are good because they save you from buying food, and money that isn't spent on food can be repurposed to toys!!!

Took the sling off my AR and put it on the 870 so I can tote it more easily around the ranch if necessary. This sling configuration works nicely for African carry - my favorite way to sling. The Magpul plastic buckles are sturdy and don't seem to mar the gun.
Trying a taclight too for hunkering down for home defense. Not an ideal taclight location, even for momentary activation, unless I use my index fingertip or shoot short stock or from the hip. Read extensively about the latter two but haven't tried them. Want to keep my wood forend. Taclight reach was handy on my KSG and 870 Magpul stock, but they were too darn heavy.
Alternatively, for home defense, I was pleased to find out that the 21-round Cali-legal "freedom mags" I had for an M17 operate perfectly in my P320C with an XCompact grip module. I like the TLR-8 on it as well.
And there's always the AR with Cali-legal "freedom mags" (Cali featureless because I cannot abide by any maglock) for certain dire situations.
That's my show and tell for now.ImageImageImageImageImage

What is that ungawdly thing on the not-to-be-called pistol grip?

That's a Megafin, to me the least obnoxious grip option in California for a featureless rifle. Others:

At least it has a thumb rest and it doesn't annoy my wrist like the other featureless grips. But I haven't tried the Resurgent one with a V2 latch yet.

If we ever get some of the AR restrictions eased, I'll put on a normal pistol grip. For now, to have a pistol grip and other features like a collapsible stock and foregrip, I'd have to have one of the mag lock/break action solutions and I hate them all. Here's one of them:

Ms. Susie got some fire power.

Kinda thinking about a sling for my 870 for range shooting.

This is the "backdoor" 870, the one that stays by the backdoor fed with slugs where the black bears have a runway thru the yard each year, just in case. It's sleepy time for them, so time to clean, lube and put away for the Holidays. Love the laminated wood, I've always found it to be very attractive.
