Rem 870 feeding problem
Rem 870 feeding problem
Hello, I'm a new guy with a Rem 870 question. If this question is covered somewhere please let me know. When I pump in a new round sometimes I get two rounds coming out at once messing everything up. Any ideas? thanks, Israel

First off, are both shell stops there? Mine was missing one when I got her.
If check they're not bent, and bend in ok. Shout if you need photos of what should look like!

Re: Rem 870 feeding problem
Like Vitaly said, check your shell stops first. You'll have one on either side of the magazine that spring in to catch the next shell and stop what you're experiencing. As you pump the slide back, they get forced outward, allowing the next shell to be pushed out of the magazine.
Mine's an old wingmaster as well, and one shell stop has become unpinned. If i take the trigger out, the bar will fall out of the gun. A bit fiddly to get back in, but not so much I've done anything about it - the trigger mechanism holds it in place fine. First place i'd look is are both of my stops there!

Let us know how you get on
