Hello everyone,
This is my first post on here and my first day as a remington 870 owner. Today I bought a super slug from someone and when I got it home I noticed the screw that pins the barrel is missing. I can't seem to find anything about this online. I know pinning the barrel is for accuracy but I still would like to have it thanks !

I haven't dealt with a pinned barrel personally.
I don't think they are a factory option. Either somebody did it themselves, or had a gunsmith do it. So you will have to figure it out yourself, or take it to a gunsmith to figure out what screw to use.
From what I see on the internet tubes it's controversial as to if it works. I'd suggest you test the accuracy at a range and decide if you think it will help first.

Oops, looks like they are a factory option.
Did a search for "pinned barrel" on this forum and this popped up first.

Maybe Brownells or Numerich carries stock replacements?
