Hello.
I have a Police Magnum with the following details / features:
SN B552xxxM
Barrel code: EP 85 The lookup tool says October 95. Curious about the "85" stamped on the barrel.
Blued
Chrome bolt
Speed Feed synthetic pistol grip full stock (without the shell holding feature)
Surefire fore end with momentary pressure switch on right and on/off switch on left
20" cylinder bore barrel
Ghost ring rear sight
Trijicon H3 98 front sight
Magazine extension with bluing that matches the shotgun's finish
Is there anything particularly unique about this configuration? It's in excellent condition. It's been in my safe since I bought it used around 2000 or 2001.
Edit: After more digging around, I've determined that it's a Scattergun Technologies build. The sights, forend, and stock are a dead match.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

It used to have a side saddle shell holder, which you can see on the receiver. There is virtually no wear on the action.

Again, definitely confirmed as a Scattergun Technologies gun. They said it would have sold new for around $800 or so in 1995. Or about $1,300 in today's money thanks to inflation.

Don’t know about the ‘85’ but according to the barrel definitely an October of ‘95 shotgun.
It looks to be in very nice shape. I’d change out that garbage plastic follower and install a jumbo head safety and that shotgun is golden!
