help with date of manufacture

I need help dating my 870 Wingmaster. My date code doesn't seem to fit the guide. I have a 3-digit code on the left side of the barrel, near the receiver, which I assume is the date code: "LDY". It looks like it might be 40's to 60's vintage. S/N is 530xxxV. I appreciate any help.

Sorry, I meant 50's -60's
