I have an old 870 Wingmaster Magnum with a "polychoke," which I absolutely love! I have another 870 Wingmaster that will be my "makeover" project to eventually be handed down to my son. I want my 870 project gun to match my other Wingmaster. My question is: How or where do you find those old "polychokes?" Can they still be ordered by through Remington? Are they hard to install? If they can be found, are they expensive? Thank you for any and all information.

eBay has some but not sure about installation I would consult with your local gunsmith

Re: Polychoke for 870
The ones Ive seen are silver soldered to the barrel.
Not many love the Poly like you so might just keep your eye out for a barrel or complete gun, priced low because it has a polychoke on it.

Cabelas and others sell the screw-in type so your barrel must threaded for chokes.

Like stated above. I’d just but another barrel threaded for Remchokes (new or used) and you’d have the best of all worlds.
