Nice pair. Is the wood stock 870 considered a ‘police’ like the one with the synthetic stock?

Man, these are beautiful! It's true that it's an uncommon finish, does anyone have an idea of the ceremony for which these shotguns had been ordered? It can't be the anniversary of some police department in a small town, it has to be something quite notable that's been heavily covered by media: you don't order FIFTY shotguns just to impress the population of a small town with 2000 people in South Dakota. No offence intended for people from South Dakota, I'm from the deep countryside myself

I got in the conversation with the company selling them and he told me about the quantity made specially for them but he did not say what the occasion was. I will ask. He said that they had a lot of request for a presentation Remington and that is was exclusive to there business.

This is what he said.

We commissioned this from Remington.
State parole had wanted these Remington's for their presentations and we had to have a total of 50 made so these were the excess. North Dakota

They are Police Marine Magnums.
It is original part number 25047 and because we ordered it with walnut furniture it then changed the number for that special run.
