Part numbers

Post by Capri2mn »

Hi!

Anybody have part numbers for the 870 SuperSlug stock and forearm, the ones that have the black rubber insets/overmolds? Mine are pretty beat up and I’d like to replace them.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the reply, but that’s not quite what I’m looking for. If you Google Image a pic of the SPS SuperSlug gun, you’ll see exactly what I’m looking for. Apparently that gun only came in the Mossy Oak Treestand camo pattern and I like the contrasting black grips. Sure, I could buy ShurShot stock/forearm sets in other patterns and black but none have the contrasting black grips. My thought was: if someone knew the part numbers, I could just order them as repair parts and replace my current wood set.

Another question I have is: can a 12 gauge forend be used on a 20 gauge without any modification? If not, is there an adapter available that would allow that swap. I know Mesa Tactical makes an adapter for the 12-to-20 buttstock swap, but they say they don’t make an adapter for the forend. Maybe it’s not needed?

Thanks in advance for your replies!
