Remington 870 Express Tactical 81198

It arrived today. The bluing is the blackest bluing I've ever seen. It almost looks parkerized. I cleaned it good and oiled it and sprayed the metal down with eezox. Then I put it in a silicone gun sock.

I changed the follower to the s&j type 3 and I installed the machine extractor.

I checked the function and loading of it and it's as smooth as butter with the s&j type 3 follower and the tube consistently loads all 6.


This came with the lifetime warranty.

I'm happy thus far. Takes the bite out of losing the 870 police on gun broker.

People on some forums were talking about finish issues and that expresses have rough actions. This one is real smooth and the finish looks excellent. I honestly thought at first it was parkerizing.

Used my leo credentials and bought some Hornady tap reduced recoil 00 buck. Is leo restricted now apparently. 200 rounds of it.

Also bought me an improved cylinder rem choke and took the breacher choke off.

I have the Police Magnum Model that I have added the Magpul rear stock on, needed the shorter length of pull. I would love the peep sights that yours has on it. Those sights are definitely nice.
