Buck shot really responds well to some choke if you have that option. I shoot 00 through a full (.688) and 0000 through an x-tra full (.675) and they pattern very nice out to 35-40 yards. I will be doing this hopefully tomorrow if we don't get all the snow that is being predicted and I will post some picture with my results.

Yes, they go boom .... but the pattern is awful.

For myself I determined that this round is useless for hunting .... :-(
That's probably why I saw them on sale for ~ $68 a case. :roll:
