They sell their products directly through their online store, and can ship from their home location in Canada to a number of different countries. If you live in the U.S. though, you should check out their state-side distributor here. They can deliver parts to U.S. addresses without having to charge international shipping. Scott, the guy who runs that operation, is also pretty good about responding to questions - at least in my experience.
Well at least you had good experience with getting a response. I have not. That's not really acceptable when paying $18 for a 1 inch piece of plastic.
But I'd still like to try out their type 3 follower in my stock +2 ext. and spring. It should work as when I load 6 of the capped and not crimped 00 buck S&B shells, I still have a little bit of push left in the spring. So if the S&J follower takes up a little more spring space than the stock follower, it just may work the same.
Order them off that bay place and you'll get free shipping.

I just started using the S&J myself. Never had a problem with the stock orange follower BUT the S&J is easier to see, easier to feel in the dark when magazine is empty, smoother running thanks to the slick delrin made plastic, and stronger made so there is no question as to how durable the stock one is or needs to be.
Sounds like a good upgrade to me.

Have a new Tac-14 20 Gauge and I am having trouble finding a new slotted magazine follower? Tried to order from gg&g and told me they discontinued it?. I really do not want to remove dimples from the mag tube at this time because also cannot find a +1 magazine extension. Is the magazine tube internal dimensions the same on a 20 Gauge & 12 gauge tac-14?

No the dimensions can’t be the same on 12 and 20 gauge. I’ve had good luck with my new S&J follower in my 870 MM.

The newer small-frame 20ga 870s have a narrower mag tube, and can't use 12ga followers. A few aftermarket companies make 20ga followers, though I would just stick with the factory one, personally. I don't think any of the aftermarket 20ga followers I've come across are better than the factory part if you're not running an extension.

I stick with the factory orange followers especially if I run the Remington magazine extensions, never had a issue with the factory plastic follower.

I typically use S&J Hardware followers. In my latest 870P restoration I used a Nordic Components red aluminum Teflon coated follower, sourced from Brownells. This a cup type follower where the spring sits inside the follower.

Synchronizor, I agree with you and others that steel followers are not a good idea in the 870. A debate I'm not getting into here.

I just saw this topic.

Bigmike, I too have an '89 870 Magnum that had the plastic follower.

While I will admit that I have never had a major problem with a plastic follower, it bugged me that it was the only piece of plastic on the whole gun.

So, I took 10 minutes of my day and made one from a scrap piece of 6061 aluminum I had laying under my workbench.

And for the other reason that has been stated, I painted the face of it bright yellow so I can easily see it, even in low light.
