Express sights for hunting boar

I have a older 870 express 28 in 12 gauge,vent rib with chokes
What is recommended for better sights or red dot . Going to try for hogs with cast lee 1oz slugs

The simplest option would be a set of sights that clamp directly to the rib on your barrel. Cheaper and easier to install than a red dot, and they should do pretty well for home-cast slugs. And if you really get into hog hunting and decide down the road that you want something fancier or more expensive, you won't have made any permanent modifications to your gun that could get in your way.
