870 Barrel Lengths
870 Barrel Lengths
Over the years, there seems to be a great variation in Remington factory 870 barrel lengths, especially in the shorter barrels. Does anyone have a list of all the "factory" length barrels that have been offered. I am trying to find a 21" factory Riot/Police barrel, and was told recently that they do not exist??

870 barrels have been made in pretty much any length from 10" to 30" in one or two inch increments. And that's not even mentioning aftermarket or custom barrels.
Non-NFA riot barrels for the 870 are pretty much all 18", 18.5", or 20". If there are others, they're not at all common and will likely be very hard to find. If you really want a 21" and can't find one, you can go with a vent-rib barrel instead, or have a barrel cut to 21" and fitted with a front bead.
