Extractor question
Extractor question
What kind of extractor did Remington put in the 95' Express Magnums. I've never had a issue with extraction or feeding with this particular gun. If its MIM, I would seriously think about replacing it with a non-MIM extractor. I don't buy that all Express/factory parts are junk. For example I like the factory followers, never had a issue with mine and I run a +3 Rem. extension.. Any thoughts/opinions appreciated....?

Re: Extractor question
MIM extractors have a distinctive raised gate mark on the side.

Damn!! It's the MIM! I'll probably replace it even though it's never given me ANY problems!?! Not sure if I should hold off on that or not? Any thoughts Synchronizor? Thx..

Re: Extractor question
If it's not causing any problems, I wouldn't worry about it.

Change it if you plan to shoot a lot. MIM-extractor can be added to the spare partsGoodgun wrote: Tue Aug 29, 2017 6:14 am Damn!! It's the MIM! I'll probably replace it even though it's never given me ANY problems!?! Not sure if I should hold off on that or not? Any thoughts Synchronizor? Thx..

Replacing the extractor is an easy task, just watch the YouTube videos listed. I just did my "project" 870 last night. I always keep the old MIM-extractors as spares anyway.
