Like I said, in most cases, the action bar lock is where it needs to be due to the left connector and the hammer plunger. Situations where neither is pushing on the action bar lock are pretty rare, and even then, it likely wouldn't be a problem unless certain parts were also worn or damaged. You can have the spring added if you like, but you should be fine without it.
