Where in southern California can I find 870p magnums? Is it something j have to call around for or is there a store where police take them and they kicked can purchase?

Plenty of sources online for used 870Ps - often at really good prices, too. If you want a new one though, I think you need to order it through a distributor.

I bought a new 870 Police Magnum in 2012. Ordered from Gallery of Guns and had it shipped to a local FFL. Just checked, they have a few in stock at the moment, depending on what version you're interested in.
