Waiting on my new generation 800 lumen inforce wmlx flashlight to arrive so I can install it and waiting for another push button sling attachment to arrive so I can install my vickers vcas padded sling. I'll update this thread when the other components arrive and are installed.

On a note in case anyone attempts this the forend will require significant fitting to get on. Secondly with the gg&g follower and the stock magazine spring the Nordic components +1 extension will give +2 if you use American made shells. If you use European shells such as rio, fiocchi, or even estate you can only get 6+1.

It's not really where the shells were made, but how they're crimped. The 2.75" length designation refers to the shells' fired or unfolded length. When crimped, they will (usually) be shorter than this, and it's the crimped length that matters for capacity in a tube magazine. Different crimp types and depths make for different crimped lengths.

I know that. Seems as though every European shell I've tried doesn't give 7+1 and they are all "just a tad bit" longer than their American counterparts. This would have to do with how they are crimped I know that. I'm not stupid!

It depends. Different Estate buckshot loads, for example, can use a shallow roll-crimp that leaves the shell fairly long, or a 6-point fold-crimp that ends up being shorter than a lot of Remington or Winchester buckshot shells. Fiocchi is similar; many of their loads have pretty standard fold-crimps, but they also offer roll-crimped shells, some of which - like their tracer training loads - are significantly longer. I'm just pointing out - partially for others who may read this - that it's really all about the load & crimp, not really the brand or where it was made (though there can be trends).

Shortened the vickers vcas padded sling up and added inforce wmlx 800 lumen gen 2 light.
