How much are you guys lubing your 870s? I've talked to a few buddies, and they've told me everything from light lube on the bolt and action arms to no lube at all (because it attracts dirt). Just curious.

Personally I use Rem oil on the action arms and bolt. You need to be careful not to over do it as I have in the past. I notice whenever I accidentily over lubricate my 870 that is when I have minor issues.
I also clean my 870 after every range outing so attracting dirt is not a huge issue for me.

I use Tetra on everything of mine. You put it on and rub it in really good and then wipe off any extra, what it does is combines and lubes in a molecular state therefore not allowing anything to stick to it, I can't even begin to tell you how well it works. Been using it for years and I love it.

Thanks for the tip Dan! Have you ever tried Militec-1? That's what I use on my pistols and it works by the same concept I think. Great stuff.
