Help needed on an unusual three letter barrel code

Good Morning All:

I have attempted to date my Remington 870 Wingmaster, but the barrel code does not match anything on the list!!

I am in hope that someone out there can help me. The code is "KCR"

I purchased this shotgun used in 1960 or 1961.

One of those letters is probably something else, like a service or repair stamp. Since no 870 made before 1961 should have an "R" year stamp on the barrel, I would think the "KC" is the actual date stamp, which would point to May 1956.
