So I ordered a 870 Police barrel for my shotgun. Since this 870 is older and used. Im sure the finish wont match, But I am sure it will be better then it currently is. lol, I will post some pics when I get it.

My build as of now. Ignore the upside down side saddle plate, it's the only thing holding the trigger plate in.

This is the progress I've made with my new 870, which is originally a 4+1 18" barrel basic Rem 870. I'm just taking my time with this one, but i like the changes i've made so far. I've added a Wilson Combat +2 Mag extension and i'm using my CDM BMT Clamp, then i've added the ATI T2 Tactlite 6 postion Stock. This is strictly for home defense and just want to upgrade the basics. I do have Magpul furniture and a Mesa 6 rd. sidesaddle. I like the ATI Stock i bought, so i'll probably stick with that for my stock. Probably install my sidesaddle next, then it's Sights, sights, sights..... I like the setup that they use on Wilson Combat builds, so that's what i'm going with.

Thank you. Its always fun to peruse threads like this and see all the different ideas and custom treatments. The shotguns are as varied as the people on the board. And that's the way things ought to be

I think so too. It "is" fun to see what some of the ideas for builds and and the detail (or lack there of) that different people can put into their guns. It sure does runs the gammit!
