Way down South in Georgia
Just dropping in to say "Hello". Long time shooter, but just bought my first 870. Used one several times in Vietnam(does that mean I'm old?). I bought this one because my wife said if she was going to shoot one in self defense, she wanted it to make the sound....you know, when you rack the gun. I have two other shotguns, both 12 gauge, but she wanted a pump. OK, enough about me for this time, talk to you later!

Welcome to the forum.
Let your wife know that in a self-defense situation, the most effective noise she can produce with a shotgun is a loud "BANG". Preferably several of those.
