Pictures of your Remington 870 Shotgun
Re: Pictures of your Remington 870 Shotgun
Currently have 2 12ga. I've bought a 20" tactical barrel, as well as have a 21" vent rib on order, for a total of 4 barrels to chose from. I've never fired the 18.5" barrel yet, but have put many rounds through the 20, and 28. I don't use the tactical choke at all, and have picked up an improved and full. I have a Wilson Precision 2" extended light mod on order as well.
One gun started as a basic 18.5 home defense, and one is a standard 28" field gun. The field had a complete Hogue stock set installed while the HD only has a Hogue Buttstock. The field has yet to have the mag dimples drilled out. I have 2, 3, 4, and 5 shot extensions to choose from depending on how I want to set it up that day. Replaced carrier, and trigger springs for police weights, but put the med trigger back in one of them. The medium weight spring is fine.
Took the 28" barrel, and 5 shot extension to the range to shoot slugs, and got a few raised eyebrows, but a couple people asked if I was getting it setup for 3 gun. That's the plan for hopefully next year after I can train a bit. Haven't opened the loading port yet, but that will be happening down the road.
I call it the beast.

Yes it is a mini mag light. Works great I had to add electrical tap to it to hold and it never fads when you shoot, just on a hard action.
Re: Pictures of your Remington 870 Shotgun
After wanting an 870 since I was a young man, I finally got this the other day; a Police Magnum with factory folding stock, 18" bbl with extension tube and a Night sight bead. It already has a Hogue fore grip on it (something I would have done anyway as I am a huge fan of Hogue). I think it is a 2006 model. I am expecting an email from Remingtion to find out the exact details

I like that setup, Mart6992. Those old police top-folding stocks aren't the most comfortable or practical, but they definitely have the cool factor.
By the way, if I'm correct that that's a Wilson Combat/Scattergun +2 extension on there, you have an 18.5" barrel, not an 18" one.
