So i went out shooting trap yesterday and got two shells off and went to pump out the cartridge and it was jammed. looked down to see the magazine tube and the spring follower in the receiver! There was a broken triangle shaped bit of plastic in with the spring and follower and now the magazine wont hold shells.
Has anyone ever seen this before. Ive attached a picture of where the plastic broke off. its right were the mag tube meets the receiver.

You should resize your pictures before uploading them. Such huge images take up space and make your posts very difficult to read.
Can you upload a picture of the piece of plastic, or at least describe it in more detail? 870s don't have any plastic parts in that area (aside from the follower when the magazine is empty), so the piece you found must have come from somewhere else.
