Well, I was bitten by the polished/chrome bolt bug that a few of you guys have been talking about. I decided to go with a factory, used Wingmaster bolt (found on eBay) so I wouldn't have to worry about any issues with the finish over time. Very happy with the results. Every other modification I've done has been for a clear purpose, setting the gun up for home defense or competition. This? Purely for looks haha, I love it.

New to the group. Thought I would throw up my current project. Converting One of my old deer guns into a tactical home defense gun for my wife... yes she can shoot. Better than me but I wont tell her that lol. 870 express magnum that has needed refinished for a while. Rock solid mechanicals. Douing full rail, battle aights, burris fastfire 3, extended tub mag, ar style grip and buttatock, polymer forend, angled grip, surefire flashlight and sidesaddle. Also got initial order of cerakote and this will be my first attempt at doing that. I have painted cars for years and have a full blown powder setup which is very similar in the process except cerakote is sprayed wet.

Here is my 870 express mag. Scattergun tech extension, spring and follower - magpul furniture - tacstar side saddle and fiber optic sights. Pretty standard but shoots like a champ.
