looking for a new forend
I'm looking for a new forend for my tactical. I want a for end that has a rail on the bottom for a grip but don't want rails going along the sides. I can't find any. Any of you guys know of some. If there aren't any I have found some that have short rails for lights and lasers. Which ones are most reliable?

You could buy a cheap Picatinny rail and mount it to the bottom of your fore-end

Re: looking for a new forend
Well, there're the Magpul MOE and MOE M-LOK fore-ends, which don't have any integral rails, but allow you to attach a variety of different rail sections along the bottom and sides as needed to mount the accessories you want. Some other fore-ends I know of are the CAA and Mako triple-rail fore-ends that allow you to remove the side rails if you don't need them. I don't have any personal experience with these fore-ends, but they're some options to look into.
What kind of forward grip are you looking to attach?

I was thinking about getting a angled grip.

I would go with one of the Magpul MOE or MOE Mlok forends. I have the standard MOE forend and love it. I have a completely decked out Magpul 870 even down to the mag tube clamp. I love my shot gun. Here is a few pics of the forend and grip area of the SGA butt stock.
