Reason for not wanting to carry, I've found the Brownings of this era can be a bit finicky on feeding JHP. It's also not in the greatest of condition (it was given to me by my dad), and is a bit beat up. Anyway, it's a 1974 C-series with "Browning Arms Company Morgan Utah & Montreal P.Q. Made in Belgium" stamped on the slide. External extractor, spur hammer, adjustable sights. Safety on the left side of frame, and not the original one. Somebody dropped in a stainless safety that doesn't really fit the looks of the blued frame. From what my dad has told me, it previously belonged to an LEO, and probably has a 5,000 round count on it. The whole thing could use new springs....it just doesn't feed / fire reliably at the range, and the mag springs are old & tired. Last time I had it out a couple weeks ago, I was getting some light strikes on it. I still have the original wood grip panels, and he would get (3) 13 round magazines + a 20 round magazine. I'm thinking around $400. Am I at least in the ball park? If it matters, I'm in Oregon. If it was a T-series and in better shape, I'd be more inclined to keep it. As much as I love the feel of the BHP in my hand, I have no problem letting it go to pickup something more useful to me.
