bolt action mossberg

Post by msgthelm » Wed Nov 20, 2013 1:48 am

No other forums seem to be able to answer. I have a bolt action single shot 410 mossberg. But the bolt won't stay all the way down. How can it be fixed?
Thank

Moved to the "Other Firearms" section.

Is this one of Mossberg's old 70- or 170-series shotguns? I'm afraid I don't have any hands-on experience with either. Have you had a gunsmith look at it?

I thought the 70/170-series guns were the bolt-action single-shots, and the 80/180-series models were bolt-action repeaters with internal magazines.

Will the bolt shut without a round in the chamber? Synch is right that model is an internal mag repeater.

Here is an exploded diagram.
