my barrel on my 870 tactical will not come off?

trying to put a new forend on my 870 tactical. but the barrel will not budge. i have had a few these guns. never with a barrel this tight. this is a new gun as well? any recommendations. trying to install a new magpul fore end

Are you trying to pull it off with the action open or closed? When the action is closed, the breech bolt assembly and barrel lock together. You should have the fore-end back half-way when pulling the barrel off.

got it off there are some burrs in were the barrel slides in. a little jb blaster goes a long ways.
