Locking block assembly

Locking block assembly

Hi, I own a 870 wingmaster 26'' , Having problems with magazine cap loosening after 20 shots. The question is, with the for-end assembly fully foreward,( snapcap in the chamber), if I remove the magazine cap , will I be able to remove the barrel or will the locking block assembly prevent this.
