870 pump sticks when against the receiver
870 pump sticks when against the receiver
Subject speaks for itself, the Pump is sticking against the receiver. I have taken it apart and done a really good clean and lubed it run, sat there and ran the pump a good couple hundred times and its super smooth but sticks when its pumped against the receiver. Action arms look fine, bolt and carrier look fine. I have shot little 300 shells through it. I did change the forend to a hogue on it do not know if that could be whats causing the sticking. Any help would be amazing thanks.

Reezy702, do you have sidesaddle on your 870? Sometimes people overtighten the screws of sidesaddle which makes action stiff.

Well took it apart checked forearm saw some wear marks, took the dremel to it. Felt a lot better after that, Running nice and smooth can work the action with two fingers. Thanks for the suggestions.
