It is an 870 express synthetic. I bought it a several years ago for home protection. I am wanting to add a tactical light with a remote pressure switch and a larger safety button. A strobe option would be nice but not a must. Not going to be used for anything other than home protection. Any suggestions of budget friendly options for these items and any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The large safety buttons are discussed in an article on the front pages of this website, here (https://www.rem870.com/2012/06/21/remin ... p-systems/) I have the S&J Hardware safety on one of my 870's and it's, ahem, huge. But it's to-each-their-own as far as likes and dislikes. As far as barrels go there are a myriad of sources for new and used 870 barrels including Remington themselves. Depends on length (most HD shotguns go around 18" barrels) and sights. I can't help with lights or magazine extensions as I don't use either of those.
