Tactical Barrel

WTB: 18.5" 12 ga. tactical barrel, the one with Rem choke and XS Ghost ring sights. With or without the extended choke.

I was in an Academy store today, and noticed that they had four Mossberg 500 tac size barrels in stock. Did not check the price, but bet they are competitive.

Are you looking for a RemChoke barrel to fit a receiver with a 4-round magazine tube (plus whatever extension), or the one-piece 6-round magazine tube?




Also, The ghost-ring sights on factory 870s (all that I've seen, at least) have the rear sight mounted to the receiver, so if you don't have them and you want to add them, you may have to tap you receiver or do something custom.

There's one of those barrels with the Rem Choke/Breacher for sale on ebay right now. It's at 200.00, and he said he waited through a 4 month backorder to get that. Its like the upper pic in Synchros' examples above this. It's made to fit the 4rd magazine version (lug is just past the middle) where people add mag extensions. If i did'nt already have 3 barrels, i'd have just told you i bought that barrel. I love that barrel; 18.5 + a Remchoke/Breacher, they're hard to find lately.
