To be completely honest with you I got the AFG from a friend who had it laying around (I have an MOE MVG vertical forgrip also punisher logo'd). I thought it was the original but I'm jot sure, may be an AFG2. You could mount it on any rail really, the main screw that fits between the Picitini rails is in the center and it tightens down on all corners. I would say a 5" would be plenty. Can def get away with an inch or two less though. I like the bulk it adds to my grip almost giving you an isosceles style grip. I'm definitely a fan and would recommend it.

I have a question for one of you. Which is better, the MS2 or MS3 Sling :?:

MS3. It is Velcro resistant unlike the 2. The MS4 is the best, Same design but with all QD attachments.

Thanks. I have heard that the MS2 is better, and i've heard the MS3 had advantages. QD and velcro resistant are definite advantages. I want a good sling, and i know i'm gonna go with Magpul, just did'nt know which to pick.
