My 870 Tactical Build

Hey all,

I have been lurking here for a while now, i think this is my 1st post, and just thought I'd post some pics of my 870. It started as an 870 Tactical w/ the 6 round tube. So far I have added a Magpul MOE forend and Blackhawk! Knox SpecOps II Recoil Reducing stock w/ Cheek Riser and Ammo Carrier. I have more stuff on order, thanks to my amazing wife and tax refund. On order is a Mesa Tactical 6-Shot side saddle, GG&G Follower, Laserlyte Tri-Rail Mount, Streamlight TLR-1S, Wilson Combat "Scattergun Technologies" Oversized Safety, and Wilson Combat +1 Mag Tube Extension. I was considering a full rail/heat shield w/ Magpul pop-up sights and a holographic red dot but decided against it due to the cost and weight it would add, I was also unsure if the Magpul forend would clear the rail.

Well, here are the pics I have of it from the day I bought it to how it sits today.

Here it is with Wilson Combat +1 mag extension and oversized safety, tube mounted tri-rail and Streamlight TLR-1S. I also installed a GG&G stainless follower. The tube extension came w/ Wilson Combat's follower but I didn't like how long it was, seemed to defeat the purpose of the extension cause the follower was almost as long as the extension. I also had a Mesa 6 shell side saddle but accidentally ordered it in real tree camo. So that is on its way back to the vendor and I ordered it again in black which is in the mail and should be delivered early next week.

It is the 18.5" 870 Tactical w a 6 round mag tube. The barrel is the factory Remington barrel that came w the gun. All of the upgrades were about $400. I could be off a little because I don't have all the prices right in front of me but if memory serves that's about what I paid. And all my mods are listed in the posts above.
