Bought a scabbard for tactical 870 that came with breacher type screw in choke tube with the jagged muzzle. Sliding it in I could hear it snagging all the way in. Bought 1" hard plastic table leg caps, like for a folding card table.
Wrapped outside with red tape so I wouldn't forget to remove before shooting.
Slides in smooth n easy now.

Re: Tactical Breacher Muzzle/ scabbard solution
Neuron, you should crop and/or re-size your images before attaching them. Huge images make your posts hard to read.
Looks like it'll do the job just fine, but why not just replace the choke tube if its teeth are causing trouble? It really doesn't serve any purpose.

@ Synchronizor/ Elite Shotgunner: Tried to reduce image size, can't figure it out yet. If the moderator reads this he or she has my permission to fix the sizing as I don't think I can, Sorry.
As for replacing the gnarly choke, I will someday. This fix was only a couple dollars.

This website doesn't re-size images. You need to do that on your computer before you upload them. All you need is a basic image editor like Microsoft Paint to crop and re-size an image.
