Lets have some pictures of your builds.
Re: Lets have some pictures of your builds.
getting shotgun ready to shoot and already broke something. you get what you pay for. front sight post = plastic =breaks easy. barely touched it and it snapped off. so when i get some money its off to buy some mini troy battle sights. they are cnc machined metal and sturdy. damn glad i didnt buy the expensive set. that would have really pissed me off

USMC6282, sorry to hear that! Thought that Magpul sights are more reliable.USMC6282 wrote:getting shotgun ready to shoot and already broke something. you get what you pay for. front sight post = plastic =breaks easy. barely touched it and it snapped off. so when i get some money its off to buy some mini troy battle sights. they are cnc machined metal and sturdy. damn glad i didnt buy the expensive set. that would have really pissed me off

I am making a new front sight post in Machine shop on monday as i am a manufacturing major and will be going to gunsmith school after. so i shot about 70 rounds through the gun today that consist of:
25 Rifled slugs
10 00 Buckshot
40 #8 birdshot.
arm is not sore one bit and i am very pleased with the magpul stock and foreend. i will be purchasing some troy mini ar sights when my taxes come in. the AR sight was probably the best upgrade i did. fast aquisition of target and dead on accuracy. we had targets at 18-40-50 yards and about 20 aeresol cans ranging from 10-40 yards. once zeroed in i blew up about 14 of them myself without much effort, and we just about chopped a tree that we hung the target up in down with the slugs. the rail system is amazing and the sling is awesome too.
the next step is to extend the stock a couple more spacers and get my cheek rests in to raise the stock up a little for proper cheek weld.
ill post some pics in a few

Pic of my 870 after the mag extension and light. Other than that the only mods so far has been to the trigger. Going to be getting a rather large order of parts next week so will post some after pics.

That actually looks like an 870 clone to me. Either way it requires a tax stamp. Lol

Re: Lets have some pictures of your builds.
Here are my 2 babies.
First up is my 870 tac recon. I loved the stock, but I love the feel of a pistol grip on a long gun, so it had to go.
Replaced it with a speed feed multi cam and a remington door breacher choke.
Here is my Dominion Arms Grizzly
Nothing fancy added yet, but as soon as funds allow (and im done building my new plinker savage mk II!!!)
I loved the all black look, but felt it needed something extra. I polished the bolt, carrier, extractor and plunger. It only had about 25 rounds down the pipe at this time, and is so much smoother now! And this little gun just plain rocks!
