I put the Mesa Tactical LEO Recoil Reducing Stock Kit on my 870 about 3 months ago. I had heard that some people experienced a pinch or discomfort when shooting; I however have had my gun at the range twice, shooting 00 buck and 1 oz slugs and did not experience any "pinching" or discomfort. It may just be the way I hold my gun, or how I wrap my hand around the Pistol Grip. All I know for sure is that it "does reduce recoil" and works as it is supposed to.The only thing I might do is change out the Hogue for an Ergo Pistol Grip. It is strange that this setup hurts some people and not others; I have no answer for that.
