Rem 870 Express
Rem 870 Express
Pretty simple build. I started with an 870 express sythetic and added:
Mesa Tactical high tube conversion with enidine mil spec buffer tube
Magpul CTR stock, MIAD grip, RVG front grip
FAB Defense tri-rail forend
Streamlight TLR-1s weapon light
Im still trying to decide on raised sights. If anyone has any thoughts I'd welcome suggestions. Thanks

Re: Rem 870 Express
How does it shoot with the Magpul stock? It seems like the recoil of a 12ga would be less than fun when delivered to your shoulder via a stock intended for a small-caliber rifle with a gas system.
Re: Rem 870 Express
I haven't had the opportunity to get it to the range yet. I was thinking the same thing though, which is why I opted to go with the hydraulic compensating buffer tube. It supposedly reduces felt recoil up to 75%. Have no experience with them so I'll keep you updated

The REAL definition of GUN CONTROL - The ability to keep your sights on your target.

Re: Rem 870 Express
Oh yeah, I forgot that Mesa Tactical's Enidine tubes were recoil-reducing. I haven't seen many folks here running one of those, I understand it's a pretty spendy piece of kit.
I'd be interested to hear what you think of it.
