Definitely nothing wrong with the long-mag 870 models. Simplicity has always been one of the greatest strengths of the platform, and the one-piece magazine just makes things simpler still for those who don't need a multi-role gun. I just wish the stores that sell the things would take 5 minutes to teach their employees the difference between standard 870s, and these single-role variants.

Yeah, why not. My 870 Super Mag in dif stages of life.

This pic shows my Mesa Urbino Tactical Stock and front Mako Fore end and VFG.

My Tactical setup, all Mako Furniture w/Mil Spec. Recoil Reducing 6 Pos. Folding Stock.

My 870 with my Magpul SGA Stock and my 20" barrel and +3 Mag ext.

My 870 as it is today and how i plan on keeping it (pretty much), I've also added a GG+G Follower and a Wolff HD Spring and Remington +2 Mag Ext.
