Replacement for stock barrel/mag clamp, 870 express tacitcal

Post by grahng » Fri Apr 05, 2013 5:08 pm

I've read and reserched alot on a viable replacement for my stock barrel/mag clamp finding numerous options.
Seems most have issues reguarding fit and stability. so, here I am at our website looking for those options that have worked for others with the express tactical.
Those being considered:
Mesa Tactical
NC
CDM

One of my concerns is the coils used, such as the mesa.

Thanks

Are you looking for a new clamp to add some functionality that the current one isn't providing? There are some decent aftermarket options out there if you're after looks or accessories; but if you just want a structural piece, the stock clamp is designed to lock into the groove in factory Remington extension tubes, and offers a very solid and stable reinforcement.

I don't know what you're looking to add, but I've heard good things about the products from CDM Gear. I may pick up one of their MOD-C or BMT clamps when I get around to spending the money to put a decent light on my gun.
